Description
The 03-05 Subaru WRX StopTech Posi Quiet Ceramic Brake Pads (Fronts and Rears) are manufactured using the same positive molding process used by OE suppliers. Positive molding uses extreme pressure to compress the friction material and bond it to the backing plate, ensuring consistent density and even wear throughout the life of the pad. Posi Quiet brakes feature either precision cut or shaved backing plates and mechanically attached shims to ensure proper fitment and virtually eliminate all brake pad noise cause by vibration. In addition, all brake pads use a scorching process that forces out any impurities of the friction materials and pre-burnishes the pads to greatly accelerate the break-in process.
