This 2006+ Honda Civic Si AEM Short Ram Intake System is a less expensive alternative to a full cold air system. The AEM short ram intake installs easily under the hood, taking in air from the coolest area of the engine compartment. Cooler air carries more oxygen, which translates into a more intense explosion in the combustion chamber to create more horsepower and torque. AEM also tunes the inlet pipe in length and diameter to match the engine’s resonance and help move more air to the cylinders, thus delivering larger power gains.
