Description
The 2006+ Honda Civic Skunk2 Pro-Series Throttle Body is designed to be used with an OEM or Skunk2 Intake Manifold, to increase horsepower and torque by optimizing airflow to your engine. A larger throttle body is important to make additional power throughout the entire rev-range on modified engines that need more airflow than a stock throttle body. The Pro-Series throttle body went through an extensive design and testing process that produces not only more flow, but also retains the smooth drivability of the OEM unit. Each Skunk2 Pro-Series Throttle Body is designed using CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) tools to produce a product that exceeds industry standards and is CNC-machined from billet 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for durability. The throttle pulley design allows for smooth movement and throttle modulation.
