The 2006+ Mitsubishi Eclipse Ksport Kontrol Pro Coilovers are an enhanced version of our popular Kontrol Pro Coilovers. They build off the key features of our top selling system and adds 30% stiffer valving and spring rates to deliver the same quality with a more aggressive and direct feel. This results in tighter cornering and quicker response times making the Kontrol Sport Coilover Kit an ideal system for aggressive street and intermediate track use.
The Ksport system uses a monotube design in which the oil and gas are separated within the cylinder. When compared to twin tube construction, the monotube design dissipates heat faster and more evenly, allows finer damping adjustments, and requires more expensive design process. Aeration and cavitation issues are a lot less common in a monotube design, which results in a more consistent ride quality.
