TeamNotEvo is quickly positioning themselves as one of the most active & relevant communities dedicated solely to the 2008-2015 Lancer “non Evo trims”… GTS, DE, ES, GT, SE, & Ralliart. Updated 05-09 Legacy GT Section

We recently overhauled and updated our 05-09 Subaru Legacy GT Performance Parts page. Everything you see in this section is to upgrade your LGT with performance or appearance.

In 2005 Subaru introduced the hard hitting Legacy GT with its 2.5L turbocharged engine putting down 250 horsepower and making it a suitable STi alternative for hoons on a budget. In 2007 Subaru upped their game with the LGT Spec B which included a 6 speed manual trans, SI drive and Bilstein shocks.

Browsing through our extensive Subaru parts selection today it would be hard to believe that only 18 months earlier this section on AutoCity Imports was non-existent. Though we had over 8 years in business serving the sport compact market at that time, we knew our Subaru section was nothing to write home about. So we trashed the section and put the project in the hands of a true Subaru enthusiast. Enter Alex Skatkov. We met Alex at a local Michigan car meet standing next to his 2010 WRX. We started up a conversation about Subies and we haven’t heard him stop since.

Over the course of his first 18 months Alex has continued to bring in line after line of the biggest names in Subaru performance, headed up some projects developing exclusive AutoCity Imports Subaru parts, introduced AutoCity Imports as a main storefront vendor on Nasioc along with a multitude of other Subaru communities, and this is just the start.

JDM GEEK – Geeks Wanted

Over the past year AutoCity Imports has been working to get our JDM GEEK division off the ground and running. JDM GEEK is “enthusiast driven” and delivers photo coverage from events across the United States. When we say “enthusiast driven” we’re talking everything from ownership and administrative staff down to the growing list of contributing photographers. Everyone involved with JDM GEEK is an active part of the automotive tuning culture and shares a passion for seeing our scene continue to flourish. JDM GEEK is showcasing the scene to promote local involvement, support grassroots events, and bring together people who share this vision.

In 2012 JDM GEEK shot a total of 40 events and has already surpassed that number for 2013. Not only are we shooting more events this year, but we are shooting bigger events, working closer with the event coordinators, teaming up with more photographers, and setting up shop as a supporting paid vendor at many of the shows we are shooting.

Happy New Year – WIN $50

Happy New Year to the AutoCity Imports community! We’d like to send a big THANK YOU to all our loyal customers who helped make 2012 another banner year for the company. Here’s a short review of what 2012 brought us and what 2013 has to come.

In 2012 we took our show on the road for the first time since 2005, and hit some great events up across the Midwest and East coast. Traveling gave us a chance to connect with many of our long time loyal customers and support some grass root shows that keep our scene alive. We also welcomed the addition of Dan Slavin, Alex Skatkov, and Jason Willis to our team. Each is a true automotive enthusiast that we are very proud to have as a part of the AutoCity family.

As we go into 2013 we have many goals to work more efficiently and better cater to our customers, but the one we’re most excited to share is our involvement within the Subaru community. We have completely overhauled our Subaru Parts section, have added over 2,000 new Subaru specific parts, and are a new supporting vendor on MISubie.com, WRXforums.com & NASIOC. We are very much looking forward to doing our part to help support these communities and also have some plans to offer parts and services that will be exclusive to AutoCity customers. – stay tuned!
